This lovely pattern by Betty Pillsbury is a perfect beginner to intermediate embroidery with outstanding appeal and variety in its ultimate use. Shown here on a damask ground, part of a crazy patch piece.

You can frame this, use it on your own crazy patch or a small pillow.

The design measures slightly more than four inches (11 cm) all around, plus border space for binding, framing, etc.

Instructions & Pattern

Suppliers: The bias-cut silk ribbon can be obtained from the maker Artemis, or other suppliers, such as PPPatch.

Pillsbury dyed the rose ribbon herself but any silk ribbon could be used for the flowers. Try the suppliers listed above, or Maureen Greeson or Vintage Vogue
