Dear Needleworkers,

For a special message, click here!

This is the premier issue of what I hope will be a successful adventure in embroidery and needlework of all types. No matter what it is you love to do, perhaps these pages will entice you to try something new. We've lined up several top-name designers who will be sharing their expertise in the coming months.

This space is for you, the reader. Contact us with your comments. Let us know what you want to see in future issues. Let us know when we make errors.  And let us know when we get it right.  All of this will ensure that we continue to bring you articles that help you to progress in your skills and open your eyes to the vast world of needlework.

Currently, there are no magazines in the U.S. which provide a wide variety of techniques. It is our sincere hope that the staff at The Journal can help to fill the vacuum.
