easy to wash when soiled, as opposed to rebinding a hoop. And, you can do it as fancy as you prefer.

The hole should be cut about 2 inches smaller than the hoop. In this example, an 8-inch (20.3 cm) circle You can do this quite easily in this way:

- fold the fabric in fourths;

- with a pencil, mark the radius length (half of the diameter of the circle - or 4"/10.2cm for this exercise).

Mark five or six dots starting from the folded corner (the middle of the fabric as shown above), two along the sides, and three more at various distances between the two sides.


Draw by hand the quarter of the circle, touching all the points. Then cut the fabric along this line.

Open the folded fabric (see next illustration).

Now, you are ready to sew the bias tape along all the edges. And your “dress” for the hoop will be ready.
